Altaaqa Global Leads Africa, Latin America Industry Events in Washington DC

We played an instrumental role in convening ministers & government officials from Africa and the Americas, chief executives of global players, and key industry stakeholders in arguably the biggest Africa and Latin America power & energy industry events post-pandemic.

The discussions at the Powering Africa Summit and the co-located Latin America Energy Forum, which took place in late March 2022, focused on climate finance - its flow and the opportunities it presents. They gave clarity on how capital flows would impact an energy transition or integration; on the suitability of the existing development architecture to successfully mobilize the amount of finance; and on how climate financing impact energy development on the continent.

Executives from Altaaqa Global, sister company Greencells and partner Caterpillar led several interactive boardrooms throughout the 3-day event.
